Vision

Global standards, local soul.

A platform for every nation — verified, accessible, and built by the people who live there. Same sky. Different lights.

The name

Two words, three meanings.

“Glocalis” is built to read clearly across Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French — and to carry its meaning in its bones.

G — Global
One shared standard for trust, accessibility, privacy and public utility, carried to every market we enter.
G — Gens
Latin for people, kin. The G is also local: the Gens, the people of a place — the human heart of the name.
localis
Latin for local. The ground we never leave — the street, the parish, the island, the city.

Glocalis: the local people, with a global standard behind them.

The model

One sky over many lights.

Global

The sky — global

A single standard shared by every Glocalis platform: verified identity, WCAG accessibility, privacy by default, free public utility, and ethics that put communities first. Build it once, hold it everywhere.

Local

The lights — local

A sovereign platform for each nation, on its own country-code domain, in its own language, run for and by its own people. Deep where global platforms are shallow. Each one a star; together, a constellation.

The standard

What every Glocalis promises

These principles are the same in every country. They are how you tell a Glocalis platform from everything else online.

  1. Verified trust

Real identity by design, through Chave Móvel Digital and eIDAS. People and entities are who they say they are — and stay private by default. We never sell personal data for marketing.

  2. Universal accessibility

Built to WCAG and made for everyone — including people with access needs. Accessibility is the floor we start from, not a feature we add later — including the mapping of accessible spaces themselves.

  3. Public utility, free for citizens

The essentials of local life — transport, pharmacies on duty, potable water, recycling points, chargers, beaches — free for every citizen. A practical tool first, a marketing site never.

  4. Made by locals

Each platform is built by a nation's own people for its own communities — with a depth of place a global platform can't reach. In Portugal, that means the mainland, Madeira and the Azores.

  5. Civic & economic participation

Verified directories, honest listings and local commerce that help communities take part and small businesses be found — reviews from real, authenticated people.

  6. Ethical, transparent money

Fundamental access stays free. Where the platform earns, it does so gently and fairly — never intrusive, fair to small businesses, with a real share returned to the communities it serves.

  7. Sovereignty, by country

One country, one sky: a national domain for each market, the default language with no prefix, and .eu held but never operated. No nation hands its local life to a platform from somewhere else.

  8. Open by design

No engagement algorithm, no dark pattern, no lock-in. Glocalis is a tool — useful by design, not addictive by intent. Public data stays public. What we know about a place, we share openly.

The horizon

Where this is going

The plan is patient and ordered: prove the model in one country, then carry the same standard to the next. Portugal first, then the skies already reserved across Europe and the Lusophone world — market by market, only as each is earned.

The ambition is plain: to become the trusted, accessible home for local life in every country we serve — a place to find what's real nearby, take part in civic life, and help a community thrive.
