The first light
Portugal
Glocalis begins here — verified, accessible local discovery and the everyday utility of a place, made by Portuguese people, for Portugal.

What it is
The trusted, useful map of local life.
Glocalis brings the real, useful information of a place into one verified, accessible home: local entities and services, events, directories and listings, public-interest data, and the small practical things that make a day work.
It is built for Portugal — the mainland, Madeira and the Azores — on real identity, open to every citizen for free, and private by default. Not a feed to scroll. A tool to use.
What it's for
The questions a place asks every day
The everyday utility Glocalis is being built to answer — free, for everyone:
- Which pharmacy is on duty near me, right now?
- Where's the nearest recycling point, charger, or potable-water tap?
- Is this entrance accessible — and how do I get in?
- What's on this week in my parish?
- Which local businesses and associations are real, and verified?
- Where's the beach, the market, the public service I need?
Built on the standard
The promises Glocalis keeps
Portugal is the first place the standard becomes real software.

Where Portugal actually is
We're building in the open. This is the real order of things — nothing here is finished.
- Now
Foundation
Phase 0 — preparing the minimum viable platform: identity, accessibility and the data model. No public launch yet.
- Next
Seed the map
Open public data first — national coverage at low cost — then one deeper pilot region to prove the depth.
- Then
Open to people
Free verified citizen registration, local entities, and the everyday utility features — opened carefully, region by region.
- Later
Grow & sustain
Community and commerce features, fairly monetized, with a share returned to the communities — then the next country's sky.
